the most common question i get when people hear I am from Albania, is a) Where is Albania and b) How large is Albania.

Seems like location and size are the two most common preoccupations people have when faced with a new unknown fact.

I try to answer both questions, factually of course, then to make it more interesting add something else for them to think about, like for example:

“Albania is also a place where most people drive a mercedes or bulletproof bicycles”
